SMS Terms
These SMS Terms govern the "Cash Buyers Direct SMS Program" (the "Program"), operated by Cash Buyers Direct ("Cash Buyers Direct," "we," "us," or "our"). By opting in to the Program, you agree to these SMS Terms, our Terms of Service, and our Privacy Policy.
1. Program Name
Cash Buyers Direct SMS Program.
2. Program Description & Purpose
The Program sends marketing and transactional SMS/MMS messages related to the sale of your property, including: offer details and follow-ups, property valuation information, scheduling for calls or appointments, status updates on your transaction, reminders, and periodic updates about our services that may be of interest to you.
3. How to Opt In
You opt in to the Program by checking the SMS consent checkbox on our web form at cashbuyersdirect.net and submitting your phone number. The consent language shown to you at the moment of opt-in reads verbatim:
By checking this box, I expressly consent to receive calls and text messages (including by automated technology and prerecorded messages) from Cash Buyers Direct at the phone number I provided about my property, our offer, and this transaction. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or service. Message frequency varies (up to 10 msgs/month). Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out. See our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
We store a timestamped record of each opt-in (including IP address, browser/user-agent, and the exact consent text shown at the moment of submission) as proof of express written consent under the TCPA. This record is retained for at least four years.
If you also check the optional marketing consent checkbox, you are additionally authorizing us to send you marketing messages about future property-buying opportunities and promotions (up to 4 msgs/month). This marketing consent is separate from the transactional consent above; you may withdraw it independently at any time without affecting messages about a pending offer.
4. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your engagement with us — typically up to 10 messages per month per recipient. You will generally receive more messages early in a transaction (during offer and diligence) and fewer once your transaction has closed or stalled.
5. Message & Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge you for Program messages, but your wireless carrier may. Contact your carrier for plan details.
6. How to Opt Out
You may stop receiving SMS messages from the Program at any time by replying STOP to any message we send you. Other opt-out keywords we honor include: CANCEL, END, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT. After receiving an opt-out keyword, we will send one final confirmation message and then no further Program messages will be sent. Opting out of SMS does not affect voice or email communications.

8. Supported Carriers
The Program is supported on all major U.S. carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Sprint (now T-Mobile), Boost Mobile, Cricket, Metro by T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular, Virgin Mobile, and most regional carriers.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on carrier network conditions and is not guaranteed.
9. Device Compatibility
The Program works on any device capable of sending and receiving SMS/MMS messages in the United States. International delivery is not supported.
10. Privacy & Data Sharing
Your phone number and mobile opt-in data will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Sharing is limited to subcontractors who support the Program — currently Twilio, our SMS delivery platform — which are contractually prohibited from using your data for any other purpose. 12. Changes to the Program
We may change or discontinue the Program at any time, with or without notice. Material changes that affect your rights or obligations will be announced via SMS or on this page. Continued participation in the Program after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated SMS Terms.
